Practical Maintenance Services is a Western Australian specialist contractor delivering HVAC decontamination, mould remediation, and indoor air quality services. Established 2014. Trusted on Tier 1 resources, defence, health, education and accommodation sites across the state.
Our purpose
To restore the air people breathe at work.
Indoor air is an asset most facilities only think about when something goes wrong – a notification, a complaint, an audit finding. We exist so it doesn’t get to that point.
Every system we touch is left cleaner, safer and better documented than we found it. We combine field-tested craft, current cleaning technology, and rigorous safety protocols to deliver air systems that are clean, compliant and durable - built around the operating reality of the site, not a generic checklist.

Our story
Founded in 2014. Still family-owned.
PMS was founded in 2014 as a small WA specialist contractor focused on doing one thing well: HVAC decontamination and indoor air quality work for clients who needed it done properly.
Twelve years on, the business has grown into a Tier 1 contractor of choice for resources, defence, health, education and accommodation operators – with two operating depots (Wangara, Perth and Karratha LIA) and a long-tenure team that knows how to work alongside live operations.
Two things haven’t changed: we’re still family-owned, and we still treat every site as if it were ours. The clients we worked with in our first year are still with us. That tells you most of what you need to know.
